Cyber bullying is also a key part of Netiquette. Cyber bullying is any form of bullying that takes place on the Internet or via electronic devices. Cyber bullying can be just as dangerous as bullying someone in person. All technology users, especially younger users, need to know how to recognize, report, and stop cyber bullying.

Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter have made it possible to share any thought, feeling or word at a moment's notice. Social media is a rapidly growing form of Internet communication. It is important that the rules of netiquette are adhered to on social media. |
